Curriculum Intent

Our curriculum ensures that pupils produce creative work, exploring their ideas and recording their experiences whilst becoming proficient in working with a broad range of photographic equipment and technology. Pupils will be able to evaluate and analyse photographic and video imagery and utilise technical language. Pupils will explore the work of other artists and understand the historical and cultural development of photography. 

Impact

Pupils will be taught to develop their creativity and ideas, and increase proficiency in their execution. They will develop a critical understanding of artists, expressing reasoned judgements that can inform their own work using a range of techniques to explore their ideas. Pupils will evaluate their own work and that of others in oder to strengthen the visual impact and applications of their work.
