Grove Academy Admission Appeals Timetable 2023-24
If your application for a place at Grove Academy was not successful you have the right to appeal against the decision to the Independent Appeal Panel.
The deadline for the receipt of appeals for children starting school in Year 7, September 2023 at Grove Academy is 29th March 2023. Appeals will be accepted after this deadline but they may not be heard with appeals received by the deadline.
The deadline for the receipt of appeals for children starting school in Reception Class, September 2023 at Grove Academy is 16 May 2023. Appeals may be accepted after this deadline but they may not be heard with appeals received by the deadline.
‘In Year’ Appeals for all Year Groups
Appeals should be submitted as soon as possible after a place has been refused.
When will appeals be heard?
Appeals against the decision to refuse a place will be heard as follows:
Appeals for starting in Reception or Year 7 in September will be heard within 40 school days of the deadline given.
Appeals submitted after the deadline or In Year appeals will be heard within 30 school days of receipt.
The appeal form for all Year Groups can be downloaded below and when completed must be sent to the Clerk to the Appeal Panel care of The Grove Academy. Please ensure that the envelope is marked PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL.
